‘CAT’ passenger bookings trending higher than 2022

Passenger numbers on ‘the CAT’ continue to trend higher than last year.

Bay Ferries says they’ve sold over 2,800 more tickets compared to 2022.

Over 35,500 passengers have booked the Nova Scotia-to-Maine service.

So far, more than 21,000 passengers and 8,300 vehicles have travelled ‘the CAT.’

While better than last year, the numbers remain below pre-pandemic levels.

The operator says the wildfires and floods in our province had an impact on visitation to Nova Scotia.

8 sailings were cancelled due to weather.
