Horse events are great to watch. I always wanted to be a good rider, but aside from some time on the merry-go-round, that has never happened, haha.
This past weekend I got to announce for a rodeo at the Bridgewater exhibition grounds. Roping and racing in the dusty arena on a sunny day, it is a sight enjoyed by young and old alike.
Now to bring it up a notch, let’s get 20+ horses that look alike in one ring with all the riders dressed the same doing a routine of maneuvers during an evening program, that is the RCMP Musical Ride.

The excitement has already been building as we get closer to the Big Ex kicking off July 26-31. Now on top of that we have two nights to enjoy this spectacle, the Musical Ride right here in Bridgewater.
Not only do we get the show tonight and tomorrow evening at 7pm, but the barns are also open for you to meet the horses and the officers that perform in the RCMP Musical Ride.
