Mattie Settlement, Antigonish County can claim ownership of the newest Christmas Tree that is heading to Boston this year! Hugh and Liz Ryan are donating their 45 foot white spruce!
It’s been a tradition since 1971, Nova Scotia sends it’s best Christmas tree to Boston every year to say thank you for the help that was sent back in 1917 during the Halifax Explosion.
This tree will be heading to Boston later this month and will be there and ready for the December 5th Boston Common Tree Lighting ceremony!
