Golfers from the South Shore are vying for a provincial crown this week in Lunenburg county.
The COBRA-PUMA Bantam and Junior Championships are being held at Chester Golf Club.
Home course native, Allison Chandler has a chance to claim her second straight provincial title.
The 18 year-old says her game is a little bit better than last year.
“In tournament play I’ve been a little more consistent, hopefully that will continue over the next few weeks.”
Chandler won last week on PEI at the CN Future Links Atlantic Junior Girls Golf Championship.
She is one of 10 participants competing from the South Shore.
The first round got underway this morning.
