On Sunday the Chester Fire Department responded to a small electrical fire that broke out at the Kiwi Cafe in downtown Chester.
Fortunately, they arrived shortly after receiving the call and were able to prevent the fire from spreading and causing further damage.
The Cafe has since posted to its social media pages notifying patrons that they are closed on Monday as they assess the damage and make plans to reopen.
