Chester Race Week Day Three races cancelled

After the first two days of compeition at Chester Race Week enjoyed ideal sailing conditions the same could not be said about Day Three as all races were cancelled due to weather.

It wasn’t rain or strong winds that led to the cancelation but rather the lack of wind in the forecast led the race managment team to make the decision to call off the races.

Saturday is the last day of racing and the forecast is calling for rain. Competitors are hoping for better conditions.

For Saturday, the racing for the inshore, distance, and one-design fleets starts at noon. The first signal for the classics fleet is at 12:15 and the first signal for the Bluenose fleet is at 1p.m.
