We learned today that Chinese EVs will soon be sold in Canada! This comes after the Prime Minister travelled to China and struck a deal with the government there. China removed the tariffs on Canadian seafood and canola products in exchange for being allowed to sell their many EV brands here in Canada.
This is a bit of a game changer when it comes to electric vehicles, and it could really change the landscape. Their EV technology is quite a ways ahead of ours, and because they can build them cheaply, the cars themselves will be more affordable for customers. This could eventually drop the price of all EVs here in Canada and open up cheaper electric options for everyone.
Everything is still up in the air because the deal is so new, but here are some of the top Chinese EV brands that could soon be available!
