Chisholm Gets Called Up To The QMJHL

Local hockey player Will Chisholm got some welcome news today when the Gatineau Olympiques announced their final roster for the 2021-22 regular season.

Chisholm was included in the final 25 man roster that was released this morning by the team. Prior to the final selection, the team was looking at a handful of walk-ons they had invited to link up with the team for their preseason.

Throughout the past few weeks, the team had been making cuts, leading up to today when they had to submit their final roster.

Chisholm must have impressed during his time on the ice in which saw him play centre on the team’s third line on a few occasions in pre-season matchups.

Prior to joining the Olympiques, Chisholm played his trade with some of the top local teams. Chisholm started his Junior career with the UPS Store South Shore Mustangs for who he played 68 games, racking up 44 points. He then moved on to the South Shore Lumberjacks where he scored 20 points in 34 games.
