Cineplex in Bridgewater is closing for good.
In a post on his Facebook page, Mayor David Mitchell says Cineplex’s head office confirmed its last day will be April 29.
The Mayor says it’s a huge loss for the town and region, and his thoughts are with the staff and management.
Mitchell adds he’s reached out to the company to see if there are any options for other locations.
He says the town hasn’t had any discussions with Cineplex or the landowner about any future plans for the property.
