Clean sweep for Canadians at International Dory Race event

The Canadian teams at the 71st International Dory Race picked up a clean sweep of wins in all the divisions of racing this past weekend.

The annual event which rotates between Lunenburg and Gloucester Mass. was back in the home of the Bluenose this past weekend, with racers facing less than ideal weather conditions at times.

That didn’t deter the Canadian teams, most of whom are local to Lunenburg County who won every race they contested.

The event will move back to Gloucester for the 72nd edition of the dory races next year where the Canadians will get a chance to defend their titles.
