Due to Covid-19, The Country Music Association had to cancel their huge CMA Fest. It’s the longest running Country Festival, it has been happening since 1972 and this is the first time in their history they have had to cancel. Total bummer but they are going to make the most of it.
They have planned 2 Tv Specials instead. The first one is scheduled for tomorrow (July 1st)
First up is “CMA Summer Stay-Cay. Jimmie Allen and Lindsay Ell are going to host a live stream concert. There will be over 50 Country artists performing. They will have Q&A sessions, they’ll play games and more. You’ll find it on the CMA’s YouTube and Facebook channels
Then on July 13, Luke Bryan will host the CMA Best of Fest TV special. There will be over 25 performances from CMA Fests past like Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Kane brown, and Sam hunt. The show will also include a brand-new performance from Luke Bryan and Darius Rucker.
The three-hour CMA Best of Fest special will begin at 9PM on ABC.
