What would amalgamation look like in Shelburne County?
Three municipal units have formed a committee, and will discuss the subject at an upcoming meeting.
It’s happening next week, December 3 at the Shelburne municipal office.
Representatives of the Municipality of Shelburne, Town of Shelburne and Town of Lockeport are involved.
The group will talk about the feasibility, implications, opportunities and challenges surrounding amalgamation.
The meeting is open to the public, but no questions will be taken.
