A community information session on Housing is scheduled tonight in Bridgewater.
Representatives from various government housing programs, including the Secondary and Backyard Suite Incentive Program, Happipad, and NSCC Housing For Students, will be in attendance.
The session aims to inform homeowners about opportunities to participate in these programs, allowing them to offer housing in innovative ways.
For example, Happipad offers a service facilitating room rentals, while the suite incentive program provides subsidies for initiatives like granny suites or small backyard mini-homes.
The event will take place at the Bridgewater Baptist Church from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. All interested individuals are welcome to attend.
