COVID screening to end at hospital entrances

You won’t be asked about COVID symptoms at hospital doors anymore.

Nova Scotia Health says site screeners won’t be at the entrances as of Sunday.

They were introduced early in the pandemic to maintain control of the disease in hospitals.

Masks and sanitizers were also required, they will still be available on self-serve, and signs will be posted.

You don’t have to enter hospitals wearing a mask, but one is required if you’re experiencing symptoms.
