Just one week to go in the provincial election campaign as it enters Day 25.
NDP Leader Gary Burrill is scheduled to make a campaign announcement at Cavicchi’s Meat Market in Upper Tantallon at 10 a.m.
He’ll then hit the streets for some campaigning in Chester-St. Margaret’s, Timberlea-Prospect, Halifax Armdale, and Halifax Atlantic.
Tory Leader Tim Houston will hold a media availability in Halifax at 10 a.m.
Meantime, Labi Kousoulis, the Liberal Candidate for Halifax Citadel-Sable Island, will be holding a media availability at 12:30 p.m. in Halifax.
A news release says Kousoulis will speak on economic platforms put forward by the opposing parties.
Meantime, early voting is up in Nova Scotia as the election campaign enters its final week.
Elections Nova Scotia says 75,367 early votes have been cast so far.
That’s up by about 40,000 ballots when compared to the same point in the 2017 provincial general election.
The data includes write-in ballots, returning office continuous polls, as well as community and advance polls.
