A familiar face is back as chief executive officer at Lunenburg-based High Liner Foods.
Henry Demone was appointed to the position by the company’s board of directors.
He succeeds Keith Decker who became CEO in 2015 and is now leaving the company.
Demone previously served as CEO from 1992 to 2015.
During that time, the company transformed from a regional fishing and processing operation to the leading supplier of frozen food in North America.
Demone will continue to serve as chairman of the board at High Liner Foods.
He says “the company is pursuing the right strategy to grow the business and create long-term value for shareholders.”
