It’s National Devil’s Food Cake Day! If you think you’ve never had a piece of Devil’s Food Cake you probably have tried it and thought it was just chocolate cake.
It uses more baking soda than a chocolate cake, also more cocoa powder and is basically a chocolate version of Angel Food Cake – it’s lighter, fluffier and richer.
It’s not my favourite cake.
My go-to cake is either the common Pound Cake or the Lemon Cake.
