After a two-year hiatus Dickensville has returned to Queens County Museum along with the Festival of Trees.
Dickensville features a miniature version of a victorian era English town adorned in all of the festive decorations you would expect to see from that time period. Its name comes from writer Charles Dickens who is most well known for his book A Christmas Carol.
The other exhibit taking place at the museum simultaneously is the Festival of Trees which features a handful of trees all decorated with a specific theme in mind. Some of the trees in this year’s exhibit include; Star Wars, Harry Potter, Beanie Babies and more.
Both displays are now open at Queens County Museum, which charges no admission. The museum is open from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday and on Sundays it is open from noon until 5:00 p.m..
The exhibits will be on display until December 23rd, after which they will be taken down until next year.
