Diesel prices to shift at midnight

Diesel prices will shift in Nova Scotia at midnight.

The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board has announced it will bring in the interrupter clause to adjust the price.

“This change is necessary due to significant shifts in the market price of diesel oil,” a news release says.

The interrupter clause is invoked to change prices by at least six cents per litre.

Reports suggest it will be going up by 11 cents.

The price of gas will not be impacted.

Currently, diesel is selling for about $1.80 or a little more depending on where you live.
