Doctors And Province Have A Deal

A tentative agreement has been reached between the province and more than 3,100 physicians.

Doctors Nova Scotia has announced a four-year deal between themselves and the Department of Health and Wellness.

The two sides have been negotiating for 11 months.

Physicians were made aware of the tentative agreement today.

Their previous contract expired March 31.

They will vote to accept or reject the terms between November 4 and 25.

Doctors Nova Scotia is refusing to release the details with the public until after their member’s ratification.

The results of that vote are expected to be made public November 27.
