A dog had to be put down after attacking its owners in Conquerall Bank this morning.
At approximately 8:45am, Lunenburg District RCMP responded to help a local animal control officer capture a dog that had attacked its owners at a home on Hwy. 331
The owners suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries and were taken to hospital.
An RCMP officer observed the dog approach people and other dogs in an aggressive manner.
Due to public safety concerns, the dog was located and put down.
No other injuries were reported.
The dog’s owners have been advised of the outcome.
