Dumping Day Delayed Again In LFA 34

Today is normally the day the fall lobster season opens, but weather has pushed the start date back.

Dumping Day continues to be delayed in LFA 34.

This morning, port reps and DFO had another call and decided to call off Wednedsay as a possibility.

The next call will take place Wednesday morning to look at weather for later in the week.

About 1,500 vessels and 4,100 fishers head out on the water during Dumping Day in our area.

Dumping Day will be tomorrow for lobster fishers in LFA 33.
