Eagles Hold First Pick In Tonight’s QMJHL Draft

Three Nova Scotians are projected to go in the first round of tonight’s QMJHL Draft.

Halifax’s Quinn Kennedy and Owen Phillips, and William Shields of Falmouth could all hear their names called.

Kennedy is the highest ranked player at number seven, while Phillips and Shields are tenth and eleventh, respectively.

The Cape Breton Eagles will pick three times, and they hold the first overall selection.

The Halifax Mooseheads have the seventh overall pick.
