Eagles out of playoffs after Game 5 loss

The Cape Breton Eagles playoff run is over.

Baie-Comeau got a 2-1 overtime victory in Thursday night’s Game 5 to win their third round series.

The Drakkar will move on to the Q-league final for the first time in 10 years.

The Eagles were in the final four for the first time since 2007.

The good news for Cape Breton, they have the first overall pick in next month’s QMJHL Draft.
