A man has been charged with murder after a death in East Hants.
The 28-year old from East Walton was arrested after RCMP found a 71-year old man in a driveway on Monday night.
The elderly man was pronounced dead at the scene, and his death was ruled a homicide.
Police were called to an assault report at a residence on Highway 215 in the community.
They say the suspect had fled on foot, but was found a short time later.
He was held in custody and will appear in Truro Provincial Court today.
