An afternoon fire near Chester has left one without a home Sunday.
Around 2 pm, Chester Fire Department responded to a fire on a gravel road near the Anne Armstrong Diversion, about 10 km from Chester.
The fire reportedly started in a garage, moving towards the woods and other homes.
One home was extensively damaged from the fire, displacing its resident.
The man was not injured during the fire, and is receiving emergency lodging assistance from the Canadian Red Cross.
