Election Day 22: Ice Cream, Cape Breton, And Provincial Parks

The leaders are spread throughout the province today campaigning, making announcements, and eating ice cream.

Liberal Leader Iain Rankin is mainstreeting and canvassing in Antigonish, Guysborough-Tracadie, Pictou Centre, Colchester North and Hants East.

Rankin also attended an event at the Antigonish Farmer’s Market and visited a solar powered ice cream truck, “Happy Cones”.

Tory Leader Tim Houston is campaigning with candidates in Cape Breton.

In the morning he campaigned with candidates for Sydney-Membertou, Cape Breton Centre-Whitney Pier, Glace Bay-Dominion and Cape Breton East. He’ll join Richmond candidate Trevor Boudreau this afternoon at 3:00 p.m.

NDP Leader Gary Burrill is making an announcement and speaking at the Owls Head Rally in Halifax.

He’s also campaigning in Sackville-Uniacke, Sackville-Cobequid, and Halifax Chebucto.
