Events still on after Scotiabank Centre fire

Hockey is on at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax.

All events are going ahead as scheduled.

This after a fire was quickly put out by Halifax firefighters Thursday afternoon.

It was located on the roof of the corner of Brunswick and Duke streets, and contained to the outside.

In a statement, the centre says they’ve conducted a full assessment, including air quality testing and cleaning.

They say safety is their number one priority.

The Mooseheads are hosting Gatineau Saturday night at 7, while the PWHL returns Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. as the Boston Fleet take on the Ottawa Charge.
