Fall River woman wins record N.S. Firefighters 50/50

A record-breaking 50/50 win for a Fall River woman.

Tracey DeWolfe was the winner of the Nova Scotia Firefighters 50/50 draw on Friday, and won over $2.3 million.

That’s the largest 50/50 take-home in the province’s history.

She bought her tickets in support of the Waverley Nova Scotia Volunteer Firefighters Association, so they get a $1,000 bonus.

It’s the second week in a row someone has become a millionaire through the firefighters draw.
