Over six percent of Nova Scotians are waiting for a family doctor.
That’s the latest update from Nova Scotia’s ‘Need a Family Practice’ registry.
In the month of December the list dropped by just over 1,700, to 66,768.
The tally features those newly added, those who are removed because they’ve been attached to a provider, and those who no longer need a provider.
The next update will be in early February.
