Family Of Six Displaced By Shelburne Fire

Fire has displaced a family of six in Shelburne.

According to the Canadian Red Cross, the blaze damaged one side of a duplex on Parr Street Saturday night.

The Shelburne Fire Department responded around 8:30 p.m, with assistance from the Gunning Gove department.

Red Cross volunteers assisted two adults and four children under the age of 10 with emergency lodging and financial aid for items like clothing and food.

There were no injuries.
