Fatal Crash Near East Port Hebert Claims Three Lives, Including Infant Girl

A 42-year old Yarmouth woman, a 17-year old boy and a one year old girl are dead after a single vehicle crash yesterday.

It happened on Highway 103 near East Port Hebert around 3 p.m.

RCMP in Queens County say the car was heading west when it left the road and ended up in the ditch.

The driver of the vehicle, a 38-year old woman from Blockhouse, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The three passengers were all pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing, a collision reconstructionist also attended the scene.

The highway was closed for several hours, but has now reopened.
