Firefighters responded to a fully involved fire at a cottage in Chester Grant over the weekend.
The Chester Fire Department responded to blaze around 8:45a.m on Sunday.
Chester Fire Department Chief, Everett Hiltz said fire departments from Chester Basin, New Ross, Western Shore and Hubbards were called to the scene to assist.
He said they were able to knock down the fire fairly quickly, and the cause of the fire was deemed accidental.
Hiltz added that the owner of the cottage was taken to hospital by EHS as a precaution.
The single story cottage appears to be a total loss.
