Over the long weekend we picked some of the rhubarb in our backyard – there was just enough to make a Rhubarb Crisp.
That is our first “fresh” spring meal from our garden. (Ok, it’s a dessert, I know)
Yesterday I noticed that some of the farm markets and garden nurseries are advertising beet greens. They must be from their greenhouses, but now I’m really looking forward to a feed of beet greens with vinegar and butter.
