Former Fisheries Minister takes job with domestic violence non-profit

Former Fisheries Minister Bernadette Jordan has announced that she is starting a new job with Shelter Movers, an organization that helps victims of domestic abuse find safe housing.

Jordan announced on social media that effective immediately she will be starting in her new role as National Director of Philanthropy, a role that will see her heavily involved in the organization’s fundraising efforts.

Currently, Shelter Movers offers its services in Nova Scotia, the Greater Toronto area, Montreal, Waterloo, Moncton, and Vancouver.
