Rainbow Brain Food’s Rose Hamilton stopped by Breakfast with Ben to talk about what she does and the idea behind the name. Rose explains that Rainbow Brain Food is about encouraging people to eat every colour of the rainbow each day, but not jelly beans.
Rose is a Certified Functional Nutrition Practitioner with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Holistic Nutrition. Her work focuses on education and a holistic approach to nutrition, rather than hospital-based care. She often works with neurodiverse children and adults, including those with ADHD, autism, and other brain function challenges, helping address issues that can affect behaviour, sleep, focus, and digestion.
Rose is also hosting a series of free, relaxed Q&A workshops at the LaHave River Chiropractic and Health Centre. Topics include sugar, supplements, and highly processed foods, and how nutrition can support other forms of treatment. Workshops take place on the third Thursday of April, May, and June, with limited space and registration required.
More details and registration information can be found below. You can also hear Ben’s full interview with Rose.
