Game On: Junior Hockey League Will Resume Play

Game on!

The Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League has announced it will resume play only a week after deciding to cancel the season due to restriction imposed by rising cases of COVID-19.

Those restriction limiting sports and travel in and out of the Halifax area were lifted this week.

The league plans to move directly into playoffs.

FINAL STANDINGS

Sid Rowe Division

1. Antigonish
2. Membertou
3. Strait
4. Pictou
5. Eskasoni

Fred Fox Division

1. Sackville
2. Liverpool
3. East Hants
4. Cole Harbour
5. Valley
6. Brookfield

The top two teams in each division will get a bye for the first Mini Playoff Series.

The bottom two teams in Sid Rowe and the bottom four teams in Fred Fox will play in the Mini Series which is best two out of three. Pictou will get Home ice advantage vs Eskasoni, East Hants will get Home ice advantage vs Brookfield, and Cole Harbour will get Home ice advantage vs Valley.

These Mini Series will begin as early as Monday.
