Great Outdoors Comedy Festival to kick off in Halifax

The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival is set for big names and big laughs in Halifax this weekend.

Grammy nominated Nate Bargatze will headline Friday evening at the Garrison Grounds.

Hailed as ‘The Nicest Man in Stand-up’ by The Atlantic magazine, he’s sold out shows around the world.

Canadian actor and comedian, Gerry Dee, as well as Derrick Stroup will open for Bargatze.

Two popular podcasters will headline on days two and three: It’s Tom Segura Saturday night and Theo Von on Sunday.

Organizers say the events will proceed rain or shine, as long as it’s safe to do so.
