Halifax will be well represented at gymnastics World Championships in Liverpool.
Olympian Ellie Black and Denelle Pedrick will represent Canada at the event.
A total of 12 gymnasts make up the team.
Black is fresh off a bronze medal on the Balance Beam at the Paris World Challenge Cup.
Pedrick was one of the top competitors at the Canadian Championships in May.
