Halifax police issue $20,000 in tickets at party

Halifax Regional Police charged 10 people early Saturday morning.

Police say they responded to a third hand report of a loud party on Parker Street in Halifax.

Officers attended the scene and found activities that exceeded gathering limits.

All 10 occupants were issued summary offence tickets under the Health Protection Act.

That’s $20,000 in tickets.

Police remind you to follow the current COVID-19 restrictions.
