Update: Heat warning on for N.S. but T-storm watch ends

Expect very warm and humid weather in a good chunk of this province and across the Maritimes.

Much of northern Nova Scotia including Cape Breton and the Annapolis Valley are under a heat warning for Wednesday and Thursday.

Environment Canada is forecasting that daytime highs could reach about 30 degrees Celsius but will feel like mid to high 30s.

Nighttime lows will be between 17 and 20.

There will be some relief in areas along the Fundy coast.

Temperatures should turn cooler by Thursday evening.

Meanwhile, the severe thunderstorm watch issued for Queens and Lunenburg counties on Wednesday ended as of 10:00 a.m.
