Heat warnings continue for at least another day in N.S.

Another sticky day for many in the Maritimes, but a break in the humidity is coming.

In Nova Scotia, the heat warning continues Wednesday and possibly into Thursday for much of the province – except extreme western areas.

Maximum daytime temperatures will reach the high 20s but will feel like nearly 40.

Environment Canada says the humid conditions will improve for most across the province by Wednesday night.

However, parts of northern Nova Scotia may continue to see hot, muggy conditions lasting into Thursday.

Heat warnings have been in place for much of the region since July 12th and before that from July 8th through the 10th.
