Heating assistance available for qualified Nova Scotians

The Home Energy Assistance Top-up (HEAT) Fund is now open for applications.

The Salvation Army says they support Nova Scotians who face challenges with home heating costs over the winter.

You may qualify if you’re experiencing an emergency heating situation and have not received assistance from the HEAT Fund in the last year.

Applicants who are approved will receive this one-time assistance of up to $400, depending how much is required, while funds last.

See if you qualify and how to apply here.
