Heavy rain and thunderstorms are on the way for most of mainland Nova Scotia.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement calling for rain and thunderstorms to hit Monday night into Tuesday morning.
The forecaster says the wet weather is the remnants of Tropical Depression Chantal.
Meanwhile, there is a heat warning for southwestern and central Nova Scotia, Monday.
Daytime highs will reach about 31 degrees Celsius, but it will feel close to 40 with the humidity.
It will be cooler along parts of the coast.
Turn on air conditioning or use a fan in your home — or seek a public space like a community centre, library or shady park.
Call 911 or your emergency health provider if someone shows signs of heat stroke which can include red and hot skin, dizziness, nausea, confusion and change in consciousness.
