A listener wrote us with this concern:
My husband’s been offered a big promotion with better pay but he’d be working in the city. He hates long commutes and will take it if we sell our home and move there but the problem is our neighbours. Over the years we’ve become best friends, including our daughters. We’re all close and spend a lot of time together. None of us want to move away from good neighbours like the ones we have, but I wonder if we can all maintain our relationships from the city? I hope some of your listeners have some experience with this and can offer some advice.
