I have really mixed feelings about high school reunions.
I went to my 10 year reunion and had the best time! Got to see and chat with some people I hadn’t seen in years, catch up on their lives and it was just generally a blast!
Mind you, I had two coworkers at the time who were also attending so we had a backup support system.
The only downside was the DJ was playing all the music from the years we went to high school. Good to listen to, terrible to dance to.
Once he started taking requests for the danceable stuff it really improved.
There was another, bigger reunion a few years later that I skipped.
I don’t know if I missed out on a good time or not but I had such a great time at the ten year reunion that I doubt the second reunion could have been an improvement.
