Update 8:15am: The Highway has since reopened
A section of Highway 103 in Italy cross remains closed this morning
Last night around 10:26 pm, Lunenburg District RCMP responded to the scene of a two vehicle motor vehicle collision with injuries between Exits 15 and 16.
RCMP say a collision reconstructionist was called to the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
According to the Department of Transportation, Highway 103 remains closed this morning between exits 15 and 16 and traffic is being detoured.
The public is asked to avoid unnecessary travel in the area, there are no details on when it is expected to reopen.
