A public robbery near Pine Grove.
Lunenburg District RCMP say it happened around 3:30 in the morning Monday.
A man was hitchhiking on Pinegrove Road when a white Chevrolet Malibu stopped.
The driver of the car approached him, took the man’s bag, placed it in his trunk and fled.
The vehicle was travelling northwest on Highway 10 toward New Germany.
The hitchhiker was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
