Ina Garten, the Barefoot Contessa has a recipe for a breakfast hot dog. It calls for chicken hot dogs with a mayo and a two mustard sauce – both Dijon and a whole-grain mustard.
Way too mustard-y for me.
Maybe a chicken hot dog on a folded waffle with maple syrup would be a bit more breakfast-y.
