Saint Patrick’s Day is coming up on Friday. Honestly I rarely do anything to celebrate.
About the only thing I might do is enjoy a corned beef and cabbage dinner.
I don’t do Guinness or green beer.
Irish Soda bread is not my thing.
Lucky Charms are not a favourite for breakfast.
Ever wonder how corned beef and cabbage became an Irish dish?
In Ireland most families couldn’t afford beef – they’d eat salt pork.
When the first Irish immigrants came to New York City beef was affordable and plentiful so corned beef became their meal of choice.
